Anna Przeklasa-Muszyńska, doctor of medical sciences
Specialist in anesthetics and intensive care
Graduate of Medical College at the Jagiellonian University in Krakow. She obtained her speciality in anesthetics and intensive care in 1997. In 2004 she was awarded the degree of a doctor of medical sciences at the Jagiellonian University in Krakow. In 2001 she completed postgraduate studies in the European School of Anesthesiology (FEEA). In 2009 she completed „The Medicine of Pain” postgraduate studies. She has also completed trainings on pain treatment organized by the International Association for the Study of Pain. She is a lecturer at courses and studies organized by the Medical Center for Postgraduate Education at the Jagiellonian University as well as the Committee of European Anesthesiology Education (CEEA). Anna has extensive experience in the field of anesthesiology and intensive care (particularly in head and neck surgery). She is the author or co-author of 140 scientific papers published in Polish and foreign science journals and multiple reports presented at Polish and foreign conferences (papers on perioperative treatments in head and neck surgery and treatment of acute and chronic pain). Dental surgery and conservative dentistry under sedation or intravenous analgesic sedation, local anesthesia in head and neck surgery and treatment of acute and chronic pain – especially treatment of face pain and neuropathic pain all lie within the scope of her interests.
Tomasz Muszyński M.D.
Specialist in anesthesiology and intensive care
Graduate of the Medical College in Krakow. He obtained his specialty in the field of anesthesiology and intensive care in 1997. In 2001, he completed postgraduate studies in European School of Anesthesiology (FEEA). For 8 he has served as an assistant in Collegium Medicum at the Jagiellonian University delivering trainings to doctors and students in first aid and acute pain treatment, anesthesiology and intensive care. He has over 20 years of experience in the field of anesthesiology and intensive care in head and neck surgery, ophtamological surgery, dental surgery and conservative surgery obtained during his tenure in the National Clinical Hospital in Krakow, University Hospital in Krakow, and the University Dental Clinic in Krakow. He participates in trainings provided by the Central European Implant Academy. He is the author or co-author of over 70 scientific papers published in Polish and international science journals and multiple reports presented at Polish and international conferences on anesthesiology and intensive care and treatment of acute and chronic pain and perioperative procedures in head and neck surgery. He is particularly interested in local anesthesia in head and neck surgery, applying sedation or intravenous analgesic sedation in dental surgery and conservative dentistry.
